  22.     This file describes how to install Windev for Windows 3.1.
  23.  
  24.     You may be interested to know that a version for Windows NT is
  25.     available in library 16 (third party tools) of the MSWIN32 forum
  26.     on CompuServe.

  28. Minimum Hardware and Software Requirements
  29.  
  30.     This release for Microsoft (R) Windows 3.1 (TM) requires a 386 PC
  31.     with at least 4MB of RAM, running MS-DOS 3.0, or later, and Windows
  32.     in enhanced mode.  For installation, Windev requires about 550 KB
  33.     of free disk space.
  34.  
  35. Installation Instructions:
  36.  
  37.     1) Change drive to the installation disk (eg. A:)
  38.     2) Type "INSTALL -W destination-directory"
  39.        where <destination-directory> is the full path to the
  40.        directory below which the WINDEV installation directory
  41.        will be created.  Do not type a trailing '\'.
  42.        (eg. INSTALL -W C: or INSTALL -W C:\UTILS)
  43.     3) Read LICENSE.TXT in the WINDEV subdirectory to the
  44.        directory specified in step 2.  If you agree to the
  45.        terms, continue...
  46.     4) Use Program Manager to add WIN3\WINDEV.EXE to one of your
  47.        program groups.
  48.     5) Try Windev and see how much more productive it makes you!
